Overall it was a really great stay during our visit. The room was airy & light, there was an exceptionally comfortable bed. Location: the hotel was just off restaurant and door large trolley. Apart from that, Betty's Farm Shop...

The staff were very friendly and the room was very spacious.
The only thing I would improve is to have dressing gowns in the rooms. We had a superior room and I thought this would have come as standard as with previous hotel stays elsewhere!

Nice, small hotel with large and well kept grounds.
Shower was awful - a drizzle at best from the unit due to awful water pressure. Holding the shower head above waist height would stop the water flowing! You should not be expected to take a sit-down shower in a 4 star hotel. Other rooms appeared to be ok other guests confirmed. Room service bill was incorrect as someone had added some random items to it but the excellent staff sorted this out when leaving.

Beautiful and delightful accommodation with a stunning setting very close to Burton center. Huge, functional room provided with many glasses. - Warm breakfast — a huge variety of meals. - Wonderful experience there....

The management have not audited their hotel against the pre-requisite essentials for a good nights sleep.
The room I booked suffered from heavy noise from a generator, extractor or aircon system. They did not volunteer a credit for the smaller, less-well appointed room they moved me to. The room heater, a wall-fixed convector heater had been turned on by the staff. The room was over-heated. The controls were unreachable behind a chest of drawers. The only control reachable was the wall socket to turn it off completely.
